1. Scope and Applicability

These booking conditions govern all reservations and passenger transport services concluded via our booking platform. By completing a booking, passengers acknowledge both these booking conditions and the fare regulations and conditions of carriage of Kärntner Linien in their current version, as issued by Verkehrsverbund Kärnten. The fare regulations form an integral part of the transport contract and can be accessed on the website of Verkehrsverbund Kärnten at the following link: https://www.kaerntner-linien.at/tickets-tarife/tarifbestimmungen/

2. Conclusion of Contract

A transport contract is only concluded upon electronic confirmation of the booking. All information provided during the booking process must be complete and accurate, in particular with regard to departure and destination, date, time, number of passengers, and any special requirements. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in exclusion from transport or the charging of additional fees.

3. Fares and Payments

The amount payable is determined in accordance with the applicable fares of Verkehrsverbund Kärnten. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all prices include taxes and duties. The payment methods indicated during the booking process are binding.

4. Cancellations and No-Show

Changes or cancellations of bookings are only permitted within the framework of the statutory provisions and within the deadlines set out in the fare regulations. If a cancellation is made outside these deadlines, cancellation fees may apply. If the passenger fails to appear at the agreed departure point at the agreed time, the full fare may be charged unless a statutory right of withdrawal applies.

5. Right of Withdrawal

According to § 18 para. 1 lit. b of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Transactions Act (FAGG), there is no 14-day right of withdrawal for passenger transport services provided at a specific date or within a specified period. This notice is expressly given prior to the conclusion of the booking.

6. Conditions of Carriage

The applicable statutory provisions and the fare regulations of Kärntner Linien apply to the transport. This includes in particular the provisions on safety, the carriage of luggage and animals, and the conditions for barrier-free use. The driving staff is entitled to issue instructions to passengers within the framework of statutory provisions and the fare regulations; such instructions must be followed for reasons of safety and order. Passengers are obliged to treat the vehicles and their equipment with care and may be held liable for any damage caused by negligence.

7. Availability and Force Majeure

We make every effort to keep the booking platform continuously available and to carry out the agreed journeys as planned. However, delays or restrictions due to force majeure, in particular due to weather conditions, traffic disruptions, or official orders, do not give rise to claims for damages.

8. Supplementary Legal Provisions and Final Clauses

In addition, the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG), the Austrian E-Commerce Act (ECG), and the Ordinance on the Operation of Non-Scheduled Passenger Transport (BO 1994) apply. Should individual provisions of these booking conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
